Join us for our Sling Shot Heritage Tour where we will celebrate our 87th Anniversary and the opening of our 4th new ATM at Richmond Community Hospital (Bon Secours).
Travel through 400 years of rich history in one of the most interesting and oldest cities in America.
DATE: SATURDAY, APRIL 29, 2023
COST: $40 (Covers cost of trolley ride)
A portion of the proceeds will go towards completing the Credit Union beautification project.
Tour Time: 11 am- 1 pm
Tour Begins: At Richmond Heritage Federal Credit Union

The focus of this tour will be to show the combined heritage of 134 years of banking and credit unions.
Stops will include the first Black bank in Richmond, opened in 1889 all the way to the incredible life of Maggie Walker
And finally visit the last African American Credit Union in Richmond: The Richmond Heritage Federal Credit Union which was started by 10 Black teachers on April 17, 1936 (87 years ago)
The focus of this tour will be to show African American historical sites native to the city of Richmond.
Sights will include early African American businesses, untold birth sites of renown African Americans, Sites of cherished African American events and Communities lost to the highway
